The Stihl SGA 85 Cordless Backpack Sprayer (Skin Only) is a high‑performance battery‑powered sprayer built for professional use in landscaping, agriculture, orchards and viticulture. It features a 17‑litre tank with a large opening and integrated filter to prevent contaminants entering the pump system. The working pressure can be adjusted between 1 and 6 bar using a rotary control, providing flexibility for different spray applications.
Designed for comfort during extended periods of use, the SGA 85 includes an ergonomic carrying system with padded straps, a breathable backrest and an adjustable chest strap. Its durable construction, Viton seals, and splash‑water protection (IPX4) make it suitable for regular use in demanding outdoor conditions. The battery compartment is sealed with a protective cover, and the lance holder ensures safe storage when not spraying.
Powered by the Stihl AP battery system, the sprayer delivers long run times, with up to 1,000 minutes when using an AP 200 battery. The diaphragm‑style pump provides consistent output, while the brass hollow cone nozzle ensures accurate liquid application. This model is supplied as a skin only, allowing users to pair it with existing AP‑series batteries and chargers.
