The STIHL MS 291 is a petrol chainsaw for harvesting firewood and for sawing work in agriculture, construction and horticulture. A 55.5cc STIHL 2-MIX engine makes 2.8kW and works with a heavy-duty .325 RM Pro saw chain. The powerhead weighs 5.6kg without fuel, bar and chain.

The filter set-up is aimed at long service intervals: pre-separation routing removes larger particles before they reach the filter, and an HD2 air filter can be retrofitted to get the full long-life system. The STIHL anti-vibration system protects muscles and joints. This listing is the version with a 45cm (18in) guide bar.
