The STIHL HLA 56 is a lightweight cordless long-reach hedge trimmer with a 45cm single-sided blade and a tool-free blade angle adjustment. Tool only, supplied without battery or charger.
Description
The STIHL HLA 56 is a long-reach battery hedge trimmer for cutting tall hedges, shrubs and ground cover around the home garden. At 210cm overall it reaches up high, and the detachable shaft brings it down to 115cm for transport and storage, with a wall holder to hang the parts. STIHL says it is also suited to noise-sensitive environments.
The blade angle adjusts without tools through 135 degrees, from -45 to +90, so you can cut overhead, to the side and low to the ground. The single-sided teardrop-shaped blade holds twigs for a good cut, and a loop handle helps in confined spaces. This listing is the tool only version, so it comes without a battery or charger. It runs on the STIHL AK battery system, and STIHL lists the AK 20 as the recommended battery.
