Description
The STIHL MSA 80 C-B is a cordless chainsaw for domestic and property work: trimming branches and shrubs, felling smaller trees, and cutting construction timber or other woodworking jobs. A 1.2kW EC motor drives the chain, and at 2.9kg without the battery it is easy to hold and guide. STIHL rates it at 85dB(A) sound pressure and describes it as quiet enough for noise-sensitive areas.
It runs on the STIHL AK System, and STIHL recommends the AK 30 S battery, which gives up to 35 minutes of working time. This is the skin only version, so you get the saw on its own with no battery or charger. The chain is a 1/4in P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) on a STIHL Light 01 bar, and the transparent oil tank lets you check the chain oil level at a glance.
