$199.00
The STIHL HSE 42 is a lightweight 220-240V electric hedge trimmer with a 45cm blade for shrubs, box bushes and small hedges around the house. 420W and 3.1kg without the cable.
Description
The STIHL HSE 42 is an electric hedge trimmer for home users. It handles twigs and thin branches, and keeps shrubs, box bushes and small hedges outside the house tidy. At 3.1kg without the cable it is light, quiet and low in vibration, so it is easy to use for a short garden session.
A two-handed control starts it only when you press the switches on the loop handle and the rear handle together, and that layout suits both right-handed and left-handed users. Single-sided blades give a clean cut, and a screw-on tip protector guards the blades when you work close to the ground or near walls. It runs from a 220-240V power point, so you need a power outlet or extension lead within reach.
