The Walbro 188-12-1 primer bulb is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to restore proper fuel delivery in handheld outdoor power equipment. It suits a wide range of Walbro carburettors including WT, WY, WYB, WYJ, WYK, WYL, and WYP models, commonly found in blowers, brushcutters, and chainsaws from brands such as Echo, Homelite, Honda, Kawasaki, Jonsered, Maruyama, Mitsubishi, Robin, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Stihl, Tanaka, and Weed Eater.
This small clear-type bulb purges air from the carburettor, allowing fuel to flow efficiently from the tank to the engine. Over time, primer bulbs can crack or lose elasticity, leading to hard starts or poor performance. Replacing with a genuine Walbro part ensures compatibility, durability, and optimal function.
