Description
The STIHL BT 45 is a lightweight, one-man petrol drill that STIHL describes as an earth auger. Fitted with wood drill bits it suits building or repairing jetties, partition walls, fences and retaining walls, and with earth drilling bits it makes planting holes, including mass flower plantings and deep root fertilisation. Because it runs on petrol it goes where electric models cannot, such as remote areas.
A 27.2cc 2-stroke engine makes 0.8kW and the 2-speed gearbox has a neutral position and a reverse gear. Neutral is handy for swapping the bit or tuning the carburettor, and reverse helps free a jammed bit. The drill bits are not included, so ask us which bits suit your job.
