Description

The STIHL TS 420 is a petrol cut-off saw for road construction, landscaping and other tough cutting jobs above and below ground. It takes a 350mm (14in) cutting wheel and cuts concrete, stone, asphalt, mild steel and iron pipe. At 9.9kg without fuel it is compact enough to guide by hand.

A 66.7cc STIHL 2-MIX engine makes 3.2kW. The STIHL anti-vibration system helps you guide the cut precisely over longer jobs, the water connection controls dust and cools the wheel, and a decompression valve eases starting. The saw comes with an abrasive cutting wheel as standard. A diamond wheel is sold separately.

A decompression valve reduces the effort on the starter cord and a manual fuel pump cuts the number of starting strokes from cold. The drive belt has semi-automatic tensioning, adjusted with the screw using your spark plug wrench.
