Description
Thumper Insecticide from Turf Culture is a 1L insecticide for controlling mites that feed on leaves, and it also targets destructive soil borne nematodes. Once applied, it moves quickly into the leaves and stays there for several weeks, where sucking mites take it up. Mites that feed on foliage ingest it, and its active ingredient, abamectin, affects their nervous system.
Feeding stops within 2-4 hours of exposure, and affected mites become irreversibly paralysed, with death occurring within 7-10 days. Because the product penetrates leaf tissue, its translaminar action reaches mites on both the upper and lower surfaces of leaves. For more effective results, it is recommended to use Thumper with Wetter 600. One 1L bottle can treat up to 2000m².
