So how exactly does it work? The Speed Feed Head 375 works by utilizing a core that the line wraps around seamlessly when inserted. Two plastic halves lock together with the core in between them. On each side of the head, there is a single hole, or eyelet. When these are aligned, the line can be inserted in one side and out the other. Feed about 20 feet of line through the eyelets and make sure the line is even on both sides. Once they’re even, the line begins to load by turning a large disc that is on top of the trimmer head. The disc turns and pulls in the line on each side. Once there is ample line left to start working, the trimmer head is loaded and the line is ready to go. Trimming up a landscape could never be simpler with a Speed-Feed head!
