
Maximum Value
With all repairs, warranty requests and services we must have a maximum value that we can spend on the equipment before calling the customer. The reason for this is
- Most starting and running issues are service or fuel related issues and not warranty issues.
- These issues are caused by old fuel in containers, machines left with old fuel in them and not run on a regular basis, dirt in fuel systems, blocked air filters, lack of general servicing of equipment
- Because of this we need to clean your carburettor and use fresh fuel etc , this can take us in some cases 30 to 60 minutes once this is done the equipment will be fixed.
Default Max Value – $120, Push mowers – $160, Ride-on Mowers $500. Max value excludes any pick-up and delivery charges.
Deposits
- A deposit is payable on all repairs unless it is was purchased from us that is less than 6 months ago.
- The deposit will be deducted from the repairs when completed,
- If you do not proceed with the repairs, the deposit will be used to pay the quote fee. It is not refunded.
- If the customer chooses to replace the equipment within 30 days from the date of the repair, the deposit will be deducted off the price of the new items RRP
Time frames
- Off peak season 5 days, Peak season 5 – 10 days.
- If special order parts required, an additional 5 days may be added for the delivery of parts.
- Urgent repairs are available at an additional cost, please ask if required.
Warranty Requests.
- Refer “Maximum Value” section.
- A deposit is payable on all warranty requests.
- Proof of purchase must be provided, unless purchased from us before work started.
- All Warranty requests are sent to the supplier. They will approve / decline the request. Excludes service issues.
- If you are requesting warranty, and the issue with your equipment is not warranty, then the deposit will used to cover the quote fee.
- If you decide to proceed with the repairs, then the quote fee will not be charged and the deposit will then be deducted off actual repairs.
- If you decide not to proceed with the repairs then the quote fee will be payable.
Repairs & Servicing.
- A deposit is payable on all repairs or services.
- We recommend all customers set a reasonable maximum value on every repair. This amount should be the amount you are happy to spend on your equipment before we call you.
- If the repairs exceed the Max value by more than 10% we will call you.
- If you ask us to “Just Fix It”, we recommend you set a max value.
- All repairs come with a 3 month warranty.
- We will attempt to fix all equipment. If your machine has a total failure in the 3 month period, we will deduct the price of the repairs off a new item.
- Servicing and repairs do not involve a complete check of you machine, only the standard serviceable items. If you want this please advise as this can take an additional 30 to 60 minutes.
